Born in the light of the Miami sunshine, on September
1st, 1974, Gregory Campisi joined the world. He inherited
his creative desire from his father, who is a talented artist,
but only creates personal work. Growing up with
this creative influence, as a child his room was filled with
drawings, clay sculptures and animation flip books. At age
10, his family moved to the suburbs of Philadelphia, where
he still resides.
The onset of computer graphics and desktop
publishing gave him an opportunity to use his creative skills,
without his parents worrying about him becoming a starving artist.
G. Campisi received his Bachelors of Art from Kutztown University
in Communication Design, and is currently a graphic, web and
product designer. Being drawn into the working world,
Campisi let his physical creativity fall to the wayside of the
emerging computer design age.
Flowering from the beginning of a spiritual awakening in 2007,
his creativity manifested into writing and photography. With
a strong desire brewing to start painting again, that call was
answered by in fact, a call... a friend asked him to
paint the nursery for their new baby. He followed the new spark
of creativity, and on December 29th, 2007, he began to paint
and create digital art, which morphed into what is now his original
series of photo-streaks and photo-spins. His art is now available
publicly. He wishes to share his new inspiration,
photography and art with you.
Enjoy his visions.
